Microvision’s new ‘SHOWWX+’ projects bright images from any smartphone and mobile device to offer an ultimate big screen experience. This second generation pico projector is powered by a ‘PicoP’ display engine that uses special laser-scanning technology to give a brighter picture.



`SHOWWX+’ can be connected to a smartphone and any similar handheld devices with a cable and it’s also compatible with camcorders and cameras. The ‘SHOWWX+’ rechargeable and replaceable battery makes the pico projector even more efficient.

World's Largest Cruise Ship is Almost Ready

World's largest cruise ship has 16 decks, 2,700 staterooms
The Allure of the Seas is worth about 1.5 billion U.S. dollars. It left the shipyard in Turku, Finland, on Friday and is expected to reach its new home port in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in a few weeks.

Allure of the Sea, the world's largest cruise ship and the sister ship of Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas, completed construction on Oct. 28 and will debut on Dec. 1.

With 28 ultra-modern loft suites and 2,700 spacious staterooms, this 16-deck marvel measures about four football fields and can accommodates 8,300 people, including crew members.


It measures 1,200 feet from bow to stern, 216 feet in width and its height from sea level is 236 feet.

Drunken Beauty Toasts To Fame

The work was presented as a gift to Filip Vujanovic, president of the Republic of Montenegro when he visited the Shanghai Expo in May.



BEIJING, Sep. 10 (Xinhuanet) --Hong Kong newspapers like Takungpao and Mingpao have acclaimed Drunken Beauty as one of the most famous paintings in China, but the work has already become a household name on the Chinese mainland.
As the most celebrated works of Liu Linghua, Chinese oil master, Drunken Beauty and its stories enjoyed a wide readership in special weekly issues of China Daily during the 2010 Expo.

Every week an anecdote about the painting in the official English-language newspaper for the Shanghai Expo have resulted in 25 stories that reached millions of Expo visitors.

With more than 200 countries and regions taking part in Shanghai Expo, Drunken Beauty has been honored by use on authorized Expo postcards brought home by millions of people.

The painting is not only a way for foreign visitors to learn about Chinese culture, but also an ideal route for the general public to get closer to the refined artwork, the only oil painting on Chinese opera to be put on postcards.

The painting also had an exclusive column in the Shanghai Daily during the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Prior to the Olympic games, Drunken Beauty appeared as an ambassador of Chinese culture during the 180-day countdown to the Games as more than 50 million newspapers spread the charm of the painting.
