Work on this project began in 2006 at Florida Institute of Robotics, with support from DARPA. TBot design allows movement in two modes - a four-and two-wheeled dynamically stable. Such complexity gives advantages for maneuvering in narrow spaces such as doorways. In addition, the placement of weapons on the upper level as profitable.
