Britney Spears is turning 30, working her way to back to normalcy, and is finally in a relationship that seems healthy and is telling everyone, "I don't have anything to prove at this point."
Everyone knows that Britney has had her fair share of mishaps in the past few years, look, I can name like a handful right now. (Head shaving, vagina flashing, THAT xanax haze disguised as the 2007 VMA's opener, did I say vagina flashing yet?)
Anyways, Britney Spears is turning over a new leaf and tells that she's looking forward to turning 30 and getting "wiser."
Britney will leave her twenties on December 2 and tells "I hear the older you get, the wiser you get and the more you know what you want. Hopefully it'll be a good year."
Although Britney has been scrutinized in the past for her parenting, Britney is getting wiser super-fast because she's already giving parenting advice to Beyonce. And no, it's not, drop the kids off at Kevin Federline's house.
Britney tells the mom-to-be, "Just embrace it fully. And just to...do whatever you want to do...If you want to take two or three years off...because, you know, they grow so fast; it happens to fast. Just treasure the moments."
Britney says she's been normalizing her usually tabloid-frenzy lifestyle by having a "good group of people around me."
She says organization and consistency is how she's been able get her sh-t together, "We have the show at a certain time every night and we just try to stay consistent on having a routine and staying fit and healthy."
It's only been four years since her "public meltdown" which is what I think the blogosphere is calling it, but Britney says she's moving forward, "You know, I don't really have anything to prove at this point, so it's like I just do it for fun and just see what happens."
That's a very cavalier approach for someone who still has 35 more shows left on her world tour before she finally wraps up on December 10. I don't think your fans would appreciate your "see what happens" approach to performing.
However, you can't deny that Britney is having a pleasant few last months. Britney has sold more than 70 million albums in her lifetime, she was just honored with a tribute at the MTV VMA's and presented with the Video Vanguard Award and she almost kissed Lady Gaga. An almost-kiss with Gaga should count for something right?
